RANI CREATIVE

UI/UX DESIGN
THE BEGINNING

Rani began with a creative vision to build a welcoming collective that uplifts minority voices and encourages creative freedom. The young women who initiated the project decided they needed a website, and their creativity and drive immediately impressed me, so I eagerly joined the effort. Little did I know that this initiative would grow to include 53 contributing members, a well-organized Slack group, and fully functioning marketing, social media, and finance teams with members from around the world. With each issue, the collective reached new heights, showcased better submissions, and experienced continuous growth. Below are some of the website designs from various issue launches.

SOME OF MY FAVORITE ISSUES

Each quarter, we embarked on a comprehensive website reconstruction to mirror the theme of our latest issue. This intensive process consumed 18-20 hours per day over four days. Throughout, we crafted new pages and seamlessly integrated content gathered from global submissions, meticulously organized using Asana tasks. Upon completion, we circulated a staging link within our Slack group for thorough quality assurance checks. Additionally, we strategized marketing campaigns well in advance to generate anticipation and excitement leading up to the release dates.
